Thursday evening, sitting by the fire. 

A beautiful evening. I did not think I would get a fire this evening due to the storms. However, the storms have apparently happened earlier than I expected and are now gone. I slept through the storm so I guess you could say it was a nap length storm.

It's finally summer!  Not much happening here, we haven't been doing too much other than enjoying this summer weather.

The plants are loving the sunshine and we have started getting cukes and tomatoes.

Grandson Evan came down last Friday for the night.  He serenaded us as we enjoyed an evening sitting out front on the patio.

Daughter Erin arrived Saturday morning. Erin and I got out on the pond in the kayaks, Evan on the paddleboard.

By the fire. A nice calm evening. It did not even rain today. Amazing is this two days in a row. Quiet though, day is not over yet. It is cloudy off to the west but not ominous.

It was so nice to see blue sky and sunshine yesterday morning, sure improves my mood.  All that rain was getting to me, don't like not getting my walks in.

I was by the fire but have now moved up into the studio. What a beautiful day. Vanessa and the grandkids came and we all went swimming. I even went.

Some activity around the pond but not too much, I'm sure the weather kept some home.  Neighbor Jeff had family visit, they seemed to be having a good time swimming in the pouring rain on Monday.
