I had a great day yesterday! Vanessa, Lucas, Kailey, Jakob and Erin came for a Mother’s Day visit. They brought me this beautiful yellow petunia plant.

 

Jakob had wanted to go fishing and Lucas had brought his drone to play around with but it was too windy (again) for either so…next time, I guess.

Erin and Dan got their steps in. They texted me when they were ready to start down the ridge and I walked up to meet them. I’m getting around a bit better, although I’m a bit pokey.

This and That

Well, I haven’t accomplished much of anything this week. My back is acting up. Again. It always seems when I can’t bend that everything I touch I either drop or spill.

This is the mess Dan got up to yesterday morning ~ yep, my oatmeal all over the floor.

I have managed to get my minimum number of steps by walking around the house or around the driveway, not much fun though.

After we received Lena Longarm's part and installed it, I loaded one of Dan’s smaller tops (Rona 9) to make sure she was happy and wanted to work.

Everything went well. I used a basic Digitized Edge to Edge pattern from Urban Elementz called COOL BEANS. 

This pattern stitches out beautifully and quickly, and I love the name of it. I will probably use this same pattern on Rona 9’s twin, Rona 8.
