The Weekend

Carol here ~

Happy August 1st!

This cooler air with no humidity is wonderful, isn't it?  I opened windows for the first time in weeks yesterday to let some of that air flow through.  I also washed some of them too.

Vanessa and grands came over last Friday.  We swam, noodled, had lunch at the picnic table and sat under the awning on the patio.  Didn't take one picture but it was a good day.

Saturday morning we attended the Green and Mirror Pond Association meeting and did pretty much nothing the rest of the day.

Grandson Evan made us pizza for supper.

He was the pizza maker at his high school job.
Sunday we went to Rangeley to see Rangeley Friends of the Arts production The Drowsy Chaperone.

Daughter Erin was the director.

It was hilarious and awesome!  So much talent and dedication by all.

The moon was rising as we were heading home, not quite full but getting there.

Took this picture when we got home of the moon over Mud Pond.

Up the pond neighbor Russ took advantage of the cooler weather and nice breeze the other morning to get out on the pond with his sailboat.

I am scheduled for a massage late this morning, Erin is arriving at some point today for a couple of days.  We have no plans, she is ready to relax and take it easy after back to back summer events.

What do you have planned for this first week of August?
