Monday Memories

Carol here ~

In April of 2019 I was working on this quilt ~ MOONLIGHT GARDEN ~ designed by Michelle Hiatt of Sew On The Go.

This was all custom quilted, free motion with the use of rulers when needed, by me.

Here are some close ups of curved crosshatching, pebbles, loops and stars and feathers.

This was the last custom quilt job I did.  At the time I was working on this we were also purging and packing up our house/shop as it had sold and we had a closing date of June 7th.

Yikes!  Not sure how we managed to git-r-done but we did.  Sometimes when you look back at things that you've done in you life you just shake your head and wonder what you were thinking....

Last week music teacher daughter Erin presented the RLRS Spring Concert with her students.  We were not able to attend in person but it was able to be seen live on YouTube.

That was pretty cool!  Love the energy of the younger kids!

We are seeing open water along the east shore of the pond.  We watched all day yesterday as it has slowly worked down along the edge of the pond along the banking towards us.

Won't be long now!  Hard to tell at this point whether we will have any beach or the water will be right up to the retaining wall.  Time will tell.....(haha, stole Dan's line)

Have a great first week of April!
