Thank you for all your comments on my "feeling crappy" blog post last week.  I am much better, pretty much back to normal, have even been getting my daily walks in between rain showers.  

Ran into this traffic jam up on Route 26 the other day.

The best part was when the ducks got across the road and traffic started moving again everyone was smiling!

Thursday evening, currently sitting out by the fire. Nice day, not too warm and not too breezy.

Kind of a dull sunset.

Sometimes, peaceful and relatively calm is not a bad thing. Overall not too bad weather wise. Forecast does not impress me much though. Everything I have planted is just saying, “why bother”.

I had a horrible week last week ~ had a really bad barfing episode on Tuesday.  Thankfully, I had an oncology appointment on Wednesday as I was very dehydrated and needed an IV of fluids.  My calcium and potassium levels were also low so need to go back tomorrow for a re-check.

Felt pretty lousy all week. ugh.  Doing better but still not back to my normal.

Not much going on here at the pond. We sit in anxious anticipation of summer’s arrival. I’m sure we’ve seen wetter springs but this year seems like it never stops raining. At least what we have had for rain has not been damaging like others around so I should be grateful.

Well, finally we got a warm and sunny day with NO rain yesterday.  We were able to get out  in the kayaks for a leisurely paddle around the pond.

Thursday evening, I just came in from my tonight’s fire.  Real calm, very few mosquitos and lots of interesting looking clouds. A nice evening by the fire. 

The Weekend

This is the storm rolling in on Friday that took us from temp's in the 90's to temp's in the 40's.

I don't do well in extreme heat but come on!  Temp's back down in the 40's is a bit much.  Oh well, can't do a thing about it.
