Carol here ~
This is the storm rolling in on Friday that took us from temp's in the 90's to temp's in the 40's.
I don't do well in extreme heat but come on! Temp's back down in the 40's is a bit much. Oh well, can't do a thing about it.
We had visitors on Saturday ~ Karon, her hubby Arnold and mum, Doris. Karon and Arnold were taking Doris (Mumsie) on a mystery ride and we were one of their stops. How fun!
Karon used to own Country Creations in Jefferson, ME. Doris and Karon's sister Wendy were her helpers. We attended many Spring Quilt Markets together across the country ~ Philadelphia, Kansas City, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City, Portland OR ~ and always had a fabulous time! (even though we were technically working)
We would always go a few days early to explore the area and visit the local quilt shops. My favorite place we visited was Salt Lake City. Quilt Market was there twice. First time we visited Bryce Canyon and places closer to SLC, second time we went down to Zion National Park, The Archers National Park and we took a boat ride down the Colorado River. So beautiful!

Yesterday morning we headed to Rangeley to help daughter Erin with a couple of things, then we went to The Rangeley Inn to visit the quilter's that were attending Spring Quilt Camp. This event is hosted by Michelle Hiatt of Sew On The Go.
