Blueberries

Carol here ~

Dan and I headed out to Goss Berry Farm yesterday morning to pick some blueberries.

We were only there a little over half an hour and picked this many berries.

My snack yesterday afternoon was cottage cheese and coconut yogurt mixed together with blueberries.  Yum!

I sat out on the patio yesterday afternoon to finish up the binding on quilt 2025-32.  I use two chairs ~ one for me to sit in and one for the bulk of the quilt to sit in.  That way I don't get too hot with the quilt being on top of me.  It was wicked windy, my thread kept tangling but I really wanted to get it done.

2025-32

I also spent some time over the weekend up in the quilting loft with Lena Longarm.  We quilted up 2026-9 with the digitized pattern SKIPPER.

2026-9

Yesterday morning I watched an eagle fly down the pond and land in a tree over on the side of the pond.  Can you see him?

I kept waiting for him to take off so I could get a picture.  He must of sat there for a good fifteen minutes.  When he did take off he flew straight down into the pond with his talons out but didn't catch anything.  Of course, I had set my phone down by then.  Oh well.

Severe storms are in the forecast for today/tonight.  Stay alert ~ Be safe!
