Ice Out

Carol here ~

This weather is just gross.  At least the ice is out but warmer temps would be appreciated.  Oh well, it gives us something to complain about I guess.

The ducks were hanging out on one of the remaining ice bergs yesterday morning.

I haven't been very productive this past week.  My batting order should be here anytime so Lena Longarm and I will be able to get to work again.  I have attached five bindings on quilts so they are ready for the handwork, hopefully when the weather warms up and I can sit out front on the patio.

I have to show you grand Kailey's latest art work.  She is a freshman at Maine College of Art and Design in Portland, Maine.  This is her first time using oil pastels and first time doing a detailed human face.  Self portrait with part of the assignment to add something unexpected which is why Chippers (her bird) is there.

Amazing!

Not much happening around here, should have more to tell you about next week...

Stay safe.
