Summer Fun

Erin had to have her car in for service in Auburn yesterday so Parker followed her down, picked her up and they both came here.  Evan was already here because he worked the night before.

Erin and I got a kayak ride in, it was wicked hot!

As soon as we got back we jumped in the pond and spent some time noodling around as Parker was lying on the paddleboard.  As I was sitting there on the noodle I noticed a little turtle headed my way so I very slowly inched towards him, reached my hand in the water and grabbed him.

Don't think he was too impressed.

How do you like my new hat?  Both my cancer meds cause photosensitivity, hasn't bothered me too much the last couple of years but this year my face was really burning anytime I was out in the sun.  So....hence the hat.

Parker entertained us with some balancing of a chair on this chin.  I tell you that boy is multi-talented. HA! Evan was worried the chair is going to land on him.

After supper we played a game of Yahtzee then Parker headed home.  Evan had already left a bit earlier. Erin spent the night.

We waited for it to cool down a bit then headed back out for another kayak ride.

Dan caught a turtle, Erin calls us the Master Turtle Pluckers.

Going to be another hot one today.  Vanessa, Kailey and Jakob are coming over.  I have an early morning oncology appointment then I'm headed right back home.
