What a change in the weather temperature! I have definitely had too many clothes on the last two days on my walks. It was also nice to not have the wind howling in my face. I have been pretty consistent with my walking this winter, have missed a day here and there when it was storming or the wind was crazy. The fresh air always feels good.
The Bluebirds have been back at our feeders the last couple of weeks. We think there are eight of them. They do not like to have their picture taken, in fact, if they sense any movement at all by us in the house then they take off. I did manage to get this one picture of a pair of them.
Lena and I have been continuing with quilting and I have also been puttering on bindings.
Lena and I were not getting along too well on Sunday. She was stitching little bird nests on the back of the quilt. After ripping out three times I said to heck with it. Monday I started over and she stitched just fine. I'm guessing it was probably operator error, meaning me.
2024-22 and 23 are bound and waiting to be washed, this probably won't happen until the ice goes out and the water starts warming up. Remember, we get our water from the pond and it takes a lot of electricity to heat up several bathtub's full of hot water.
We use this method by Vicki Welsh to wash our quilts.

And 2024-32 is loaded and ready.
I think I only have four more left and I will be caught up with 2024 quilts. With the quilting, not the binding, I'll be working on those for many months to come.
I have an early morning oncology appointment then should be home in plenty of time to get my walk in and do a bit of quilting.
