A New Chair

Carol here ~

We have had this Canadian Glider that belonged to my mother in the corner of our living room since we moved here. We like the size of it as we have limited space but it was a pain in the neck (for real) when trying to look out the window at the pond.

So we have been looking for a small~ish swivel chair to replace the Glider. We saw one we liked last summer but decided to wait to purchase it in case we came upon another one we liked. We did not so decided to go with the one we saw last summer.

It arrived last week, I love it!

It's super comfy and easily swivels in a complete 360.

I think it's going to be a great binding chair although I haven't been able to do any handwork for over a week because I have those pesky finger cracks.  Anyone else get them this time of year?

I've found the best thing to put on them is super glue.

The wind was blowing so hard last week I didn't dare to do any longarming as I was afraid we would loose power.  We didn't, but didn't want to take any chances.

I did work on a couple small projects at my sewing machine but that's about it.

We had lots of skating happening on both ponds over the weekend.  My skating days are over but I enjoy watching others.

We're almost halfway done with January, I've noticed the daylight is lasting a bit longer every day. Spring is coming.....

Have a good week!

  1. Once you get your fingers healed try Corn Huskers lotion. It's non marking, non staining. My husband is a carpenter and it leaves no marks on wood.
