Remember last fall when I told you about granddaughter Kailey’s artwork being selected to hang in the Maine Capital Complex in Augusta? (if you missed that post you can read it here)It finally arrived and last week was the art opening reception. Here is Kailey’s artwork titled “Fungus Among Us”.

Kailey is a freshman at Maranacook Community High School.
Grandson Evan, a senior at Rangeley Lakes Regional School, has been attending Foster Career and Technical Center in Farmington during this school year. The program gives the students the opportunity to obtain some in depth training in their given interest.

Foster CTE provides opportunities for students to explore career options in 20 different programs.
Evan has been enrolled in the Certified Nursing Assistant Program. He was given this Program Recognition Award last week.
Evan will be continuing his nursing education in the fall at University of Southern Maine.
