Carol here ~
I guess last week got away from us as neither Dan or I had a chance to blog. I spent last Monday at the hospital with daughter Erin as she was having surgery for a hernia repair. She ended up spending the night with us and then we took her home to Rangeley Tuesday afternoon.

I was wiped by Wednesday, why is sitting around doing nothing so exhausting?
Erin was in unbearable pain and ended up back at the hospital in the ER. Dan rescued her and got her back home again. She is doing a bit better now.
Lena and I have not done any quilting. Lena feels fine, I don't. I've been really tired with little energy. My iron is low so I'm hoping when that gets straightened out I'll feel better. I've been trying to do a little spring cleaning, by the time I get my chore of the day done, I'm done.
I have finished the binding on two quilts, 2025-24 & 25.

Please excuse Dan's feet ~ the wind kept blowing the corner of the quilt over, he was ready to pounce on it.

We went for a kayak ride yesterday morning, thought we would beat the heat and the wind. Failed at both. Oh my, we are definitely not used to this warmer weather yet. And of course the wind came up when we got to the other end so we paddled back into the wind. Saw a few turtles but got no pictures because my phone was overheated.
We have a new grand dog. Vanessa and Lucas picked up Morris from the Kennebec Valley Humane Society. He is almost 3. They were told he did not like guys but he went right up to Lucas and gave him kisses and waited for scratches. AWWWW.
