Lotsa Quilts ~ Part 2

Carol here ~

Are you ready to view the next batch of quilts? All of the following are quilted by me using Lena Longarm's computer system as opposed to last week's where most of them were free motion custom quilted by me.  Free motion quilting allows for intricate and creative stitching by the quilter. I always tell people that I use the needle like a pencil and create from there.

I think we are getting to the end of the large quilts, well, except for one that I know of that hasn't been found yet. Hopefully it will turn up eventually.

I am saving all the "Show Quilts" until the end.  They are all here in the house so no musty smells but they should be periodically opened up and refolded.

Here is Sashing Strips Makes Will Make You A Star #2, pieced by Dan. @90x101, Quilter's Dream Puff Batting, Digitized quilting pattern Becker's Shooting Star.

This next one is pieced and quilted by me ~ Timeless With A Twist, pattern by Michelle Renee Hiatt of Sew On The Go.@90x108 Hobbs Wool Batting, Digitized Quilt pattern Moulin Rouge.

Another pieced and quilted by me and designed by Michelle Renee Hiatt.  This one is called Retreat, @75x75, Quilter's Dream Request batting, Digitized Quilt pattern is Oak Leaves and Acorns.

And another Michelle pattern, this one is Dogwood Lane, @75x95, Bosal Cotton Batting, Digitized Quilting pattern is Dragonfly Dance.

I love, love this last one for today!  It's another Michelle pattern called Sparkle and it certainly does!  Pieced and quilted by me, @ 70x94, Hobbs Wool Batting, Digitized Quilting pattern is Becker's Shooting Stars.

I love Michelle's patterns, we carried them in the shop, but I think the last three quilts were made after we retired and moved here to the pond.

Michelle's online store can be found here.

I know we need rain but this weather has been gorgeous!  Enjoy, it'll be snowing soon.

  1. I love all these quilts. The style is what I like to make, more traditional type quilting. You both do beautiful work! I hope to quilt more quilts like these but right now quilting a lot if gift quilts and and they are simpler patterns. However, making quilts for others is a joy.
