What I've Been Doing

I got the binding finished on quilt #15 the other day and got it washed yesterday.  Love the blue border on this one!

And I discovered I must of skipped #14 so still have that one to do before I move on to #16.

Lena and I also quilted up #20 over the weekend.  I used the digitized pattern BECKER'S SHOOTING STARS, one of my favorites.

Remember I told you about Dan taking my little white Featherweight machine to be serviced?  I was not impressed, I thought that it would be cleaned up a bit on the outside but it wasn't.  

So I ordered the SEW-Retro Clean & Shine KIT for Vintage Sewing Machines from The Featherweight Shop.  

Sunday afternoon I started cleaning it and then polished it with the polish and wax provided.  

I decided I'm going to sew with it for a while so got it situated at my sewing station.

I have decided to service my black Featherweight myself, I know it was serviced several years ago but it has not been used much since so should just need to be oiled in good shape.  Will also clean and polish it, then will sew on that one for a bit.

Hopefully, sewing on both of them will help me decide which machine I will sell and which one I will keep.

We have had a male cardinal at the feeder the last few days.  So handsome! Love watching the birds.
