Carol here ~
We went to Readfield on Saturday to an art exhibit with work by Maranacook High School students.
Our granddaughter Kailey had four of her pieces on display.
This piece titled "Fungus Among Us" is the one that was selected to hang in the Maine Capital Complex in Augusta last spring. If you missed that post you can read it here.
These birds are all on the endangered species lists.
Love the chickadee! She actually sold this piece!
Another chickadee, this one made of clay.
Proud grandparents here!
Our friend Martha volunteered to bind some of the donation quilts that we have been working on so yesterday we drove to Gorham to give her a handful of them. It was a parking lot pass off and visit as one of her grandsons is sick and she has been exposed to his sickness. The sun was warm so we stood around in the parking lot for a bit and chatted.
And yes, we both had our masks on even though we were outside. I am immunocompromised so don't take any chances.
Dan is headed to Rangeley this afternoon to help grandson Parker with a project. I am making bread this morning then maybe will clean a couple of cupboards. Got started on them last week so I guess I should continue.
Don't you love "springing ahead?" It was so nice to have it still light out at close to 7:00 last night.
Have a great week!
