Happy November!

Carol here ~

This is what I see in the neighbors yard when I look out the kitchen window, I think it is some sort of Winterbury bush.

The birds love it and I love watching them flit about in the branches.

I made a batch of applesauce the other day.  I put it in smallish containers for the freezer as we don't eat much at a time so less waste.  Plus it's a good size for the grands to take back to college with them.

I guess I was busy in the quilting loft last week ~ Lena and I quilted three quilts and I bound one.  How did that happen?

Here is 2016-16 with the digitized pattern A LITTLE BIT THIS.

2026-16

And here is 2026-17 with the digitized pattern MOULIN ROUGE.

2026-17

Last one is 2026-18 with the digitized pattern MODERN SQUARES

2026-18

This is 2025-40 bound and waiting to be washed.

2025-40

This warm weather has me washing more windows.  I got the upstairs ones done last week and yesterday I did the ones on the back of the house.  Again.  I already did them once this fall but figured I would take advantage of the warmth and wash them again.

Grand Evan has been doing quite a bit of hiking this fall so I sent him this picture the other day reminding him it was hunting season and to wear orange!

I met a hunter coming out of the woods on my walk the other day....

I am meeting Vanessa in Auburn today to give her some Pellon interfacing that she needs for a bag she is making.  I have a bolt of it, she might as well have it, if I need some I know where it is.  From there I am headed to my oncology appointment.  So no stitching for me today.

Have a good one!
