Too Many Too's

Carol here ~

Happy February!

Yesterday was finally a nice enough day to get outside for a walk.  Most of January was too cold, too icy, too snowy, too windy, too everything! Counting down ~ only 44 days until spring!

Lena Longarm and I had a bit of a snag the other day. The top thread had jumped out of one of the thread guides which resulted in lousy bottom thread tension.  Top tension looked fine so luckily I caught it before Lena made a complete pass.

Still more ripping out than me and my back wanted to do.

Got it ripped out,

decided to wait and repair the next day after my hair appointment which was re-scheduled from the previous week.  My hairdresser called to see if I wanted to re-schedule because she had a cold and knew I was immunocompromised and didn't want to share her germs with me.  Thought it was really considerate of her.

Back to the quilt ~ grrr.  After a couple of attempts to realign the pattern back up and having no luck I finally decided to just freehand it.  I could faintly see the marks the needle made from the first stitching so thought I could follow those pretty closely. So, I shut Lena down (the computer) unhooked everything computer related and stitched it myself.  Not perfect, but done.  Didn't get a picture, left it loaded on the machine, told Dan it was all his...

The full moon sure been pretty these last few days, didn't get any photo's but sure does light up the ponds.

Enjoy the rest of the week!
