Kailey's Art

Carol here ~

It sure has been nice to see sunshine the past couple of days!  It's been a little breezy but that's OK as it helps keep the black flies away.

We have had Gray Catbird and a Red Winged Blackbird visiting the feeder this week.  I got a pic of the Catbird but the Red Winged Blackbird is a bit more skittish.

Kailey has a new art project finished. This is amazing!

Rangeley Lake by Kailey Freeman

We will be attending Humanities Night next week at Maranacook Community High School where we will be able to see all her artwork on display and see her in both the Jazz Band and Concert Band.

The town graded Old County Road yesterday! Finally! It has been so rough and pot hole-y that Dan hasn't been able to get the motor trike out.

Grand Evan is finished college for this year but still has a couple shifts left at his school year job at The Maine Veterans Home in Scarborough so is staying with us for a couple nights so he is a bit closer than Rangeley.

A few docks and a couple of swim floats have been put in the water, I'm sure more will follow if we ever get a weekend without rain!

Another nice day coming our way, get out and enjoy!
