Carol here ~
Erin and Parker went to the Portland Symphony on Sunday afternoon so we met up with them in Auburn for supper as they were headed home. We decided this was only the second time we've seen each other since Christmas ~ really? They are so busy.
Lena and I quilted up both the graduation quilts, will get the bindings on in the next few days. I'm happy with how they came out, hope the kids will like them. I used a neutral-ish fabric for the backing so they will be able to turn the quilt over if they want.
I also got the quilting done on 2024-31.

Speaking of bindings ~ Marci Baker has a new book out that is all about bindings called The Quilt Binding Bible. Kim at Chatterbox Quilts takes a look at in the video here.
Marci also has lots of quilting tips on her website here. She has always been a favorite quilter of mine.
I switched my closet over yesterday although it doesn't look like I'll be needing my shorts on today. Soon, I hope.
If/when I get my walk in today I will have walked every day this month ~ a couple times in rain/snow and a couple times when I didn't feel so great. But, I did it! Now, to keep it up all summer.
Our loon has been back a few times. I think he must travel from pond to pond as we are in the midst of several. Love hearing him.
Well, as you can tell, not much is happening around. Maybe next time I'll have more to talk about.
Have a good one...
