Knick Knacks

Carol here ~

My grandmother and mother had lots of knick knacks ~ here, there and everywhere around the camp/house.  My mother had them over the kitchen cupboards

and also on shelves that were above the three picture windows that looked out over the pond.

I am not a knick knack person, however, she had several cut glass pieces that I really liked so when we remodeled I had the carpenter put one shelf back over one of the picture windows so I would be able to display them.

We had packed them all up when the remodeling was happening and decided after over five years it was time to get them out and put them on the shelf that has been sitting empty all this time. HA!

Not a great picture.....

Did you notice the pig on top of the cupboards in the kitchen?  I still have him/her

Here is grand Kailey's latest art piece from her painting class.  The assignment was "Unusual Interiors".

Unusual Interiors by Kailey

It is amazing ~ I can't stop looking at it!

I got Parker's graduation quilt loaded on Lena, quilted a row and a half which took about half an hour, decided I didn't like it so then Dan and I spent about five hours ripping it out.  So now I am ready to start again.  (eye roll)

I got a couple hours of binding on the patio in last week finishing up 2024-30.

2024-30

Dan must of decided spring was really here as he brought the patio furniture down from the shed today.  It was a pretty decent day today but yesterday the wind was fierce ~ thought we were going to end up in Mud Pond!

I am on a roll with my walking, have walked every day this month so far.  Going to try to keep it going.

Have a good rest of the week!
