Happy Almost Spring! The warmer weather we have had lately has definitely felt like spring.  The snow is melting and I can see beach when I look out the front windows.

Mud Pond has some open water around the edges.

Old County Rd is a big muddy, rutty mess. Evan came over the other night and the first thing he said when he walked in was "What happened to your road?" Spring happened.

Dan has been playing in the driveway trying to keep the water moving to help speed up the drying process.

I finished the quilting on the final three 2024 quilts!  Yay!!  Here they are..

I also got the binding done on 24, 25 & 26.  So they are now in the "to be washed" pile.

#26 was the last one with the binding attached so I will need to spend some time making bindings and stitching them on the front of the final 10 quilts.  I guess I better get those done as sitting out front on the patio weather is coming soon.

I don't think I will get any time with Lena in the next week or so as I am having spring cleaning urges.  Got started in the bathroom yesterday, will continue on today and see where I go from there.  Usually I get in the middle of tearing something apart and then wonder what was I thinking? 

Last week I walked out to the end of the road, about 3/4 of a mile, turned around and headed back.  Looking ahead I could see that a couple of somethings had run down the road after I had walked it.  The tracks came out the woods on one side of the road, came down the road, then went into the woods on the other side.

Sure looked like coyote tracks to me.

Yikes!  Hope they don't like the taste of little old ladies!
