A Birthday

Thanks to all of you that sent me birthday wishes for my birthday yesterday.  I don't pay any attention to the number but I am grateful I am still here and able to be fairly active most of the time.

Erin, Vanessa, Kailey and Jakob came over, Evan was already here as he had worked the previous night.  I didn't know they were coming over until just a few hours before they showed up.

They all went "noodle-ing", Evan went on the paddleboard.  I didn't as I have been fighting a cold and was laying low.

Sister Terri's grands Annie and Alex were also here along with Terri's friend Linda and her three grands.  Lots of water fun!

Evan headed to work early in the afternoon, Vanessa and kids headed home mid-afternoon.  They needed to get home so Kailey could see and say goodbye to her best friend who is headed to Germany for the next year.

Erin stayed for an early supper of chicken on the grill, fresh green beans and corn on the cob.  Yum!  She had multiple stops on her way home so we got her fed and sent on her way.

Vanessa brought me my favorite birthday treat ~ a Sam's whoopie pie.

I ate half of it last night, will finish it off sometime today.

I had a great day.

We had a couple of days of low humidity last week so I was able to sit out front on the patio with my binding.

The beach is growing, it's almost to our pipe that goes out in the water.
