Humanities Night

Carol here ~

We headed to Readfield last night to attend Humanities Night at Maranacook Community High School where grand Kailey's amazing artwork was displayed along with other artwork from other classes.  We also stayed to hear the Jazz Band and Concert Band in which she plays bass guitar.

I'm just going to do a photo dump of last night ~ enjoy!

Hummingbird made with clay

Phew! A busy day for Kailey as earlier in the afternoon she attended a ceremony at the Blaine House and received a German award by her teacher.

Can't believe she's almost ready to graduate.

I saw this one lonely Lady Slipper on the side of our driveway on my walk a few days ago.

So yesterday I walked around the pond looking for more as there are usually a lot of them. I only found these two up on the ridge.

I think it is a little early for them, I will keep looking.

It's almost Memorial Weekend, I don't think Mother Nature has received the memo yet.  Sure would be nice to have a sunny and warm weekend.

Whatever the weather, stay safe and enjoy!
